Days 1-2: Jungle Exploration in Madidi and the Tacana Indigenous Community of San Miguel del Bala
The first days of your adventure will be dedicated to exploring the pristine jungle. You’ll hike through lush trails, embark on thrilling canoe trips, and have the chance to marvel at the region’s amazing wildlife and flora. Additionally, you’ll immerse yourself in the culture of the Tacana Indigenous Community of San Miguel del Bala, where you’ll learn about their ancestral traditions.
Days 3-5: Enjoy Glamping in the Pampas
After exploring the jungle, you’ll head to the Pampas for a unique glamping experience. Here, our concept cabins will offer you comfort amidst nature. In the Pampas, you’ll have the opportunity to spot caimans, pink dolphins, and a variety of exotic birds as you navigate tranquil rivers.

ITINERARY COMBINED TOUR JUNGLE/PAMPAS 5D4N:
On the first day, after breakfast (not included), we will pick you up from your hotel in Rurrenabaque or the airport (if you arrive on the same day of the tour before 10:30 am).
We will begin our journey by navigating a motorboat along the majestic Beni River. We will visit the spectacular San Miguel Stone Canyon. This unforgettable hike will take you to a place of unparalleled natural beauty.
Next, we will visit the Tacana indigenous community of San Miguel del Bala, a hidden gem in the jungle. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about the daily life of our people and our ancestral traditions. You will try your hand at weaving with forest materials and extracting delicious sugarcane juice using the traditional “trapiche.”
For lunch, you will enjoy a traditional meal prepared in the home of a local community member, offering an authentic cultural experience.
After lunch and our visit to the canyon, we will continue our journey, navigating for 4-5 hours along the Beni River to enter the breathtaking Madidi National Park. We will arrive at our eco-lodge, located near the Eslabón River and known as the “Heart of Madidi.” The lodge features private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, ensuring your comfort amidst the jungle.
In the evening, after a delicious dinner, you can choose to join a thrilling night walk through the jungle to discover its nocturnal wonders.
On the second day, after breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in the heart of the Bolivian jungle. Throughout the day, we will explore various interpretative trails guided by our expert team. These hikes will reveal the secrets of the rainforest, from its incredible biodiversity to its fascinating ecosystems.
Our guides will share their extensive knowledge, ensuring you experience the magic of the jungle in every step.
After a day filled with adventure and discovery, we will return to the eco-lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
On the third day, early in the morning, we will serve you breakfast before taking you to Rurrenabaque to start a new adventure on the Pampas tour.
Once you are in Rurrenabaque, we will leave from our offices, traveling by land from Rurrenabaque, we will enter the nature of the Yacuma Pampas. We will have lunch in the beautiful town of Santa Rosa del Yacuma, and then navigate upstream by motorboat on the Yacuma River. During this trip, we will see incredible species such as birds, caimans, turtles, monkeys, capybaras, and maybe even pink dolphins!
At the end of the day, we will enjoy a beautiful sunset on the Pampas, and for those who want something more, they can join a night activity to observe the glow of the caiman’s eyes (for this activity, each person must have a flashlight).
On the fourth day, we will have a walk through the Pampas in search of the imposing anaconda and other animals (for this activity, we will provide you with rubber boots, in Bolivia we only have sizes up to 45EUR). If we are in the rainy season, we will navigate by motorboat to try to find this type of snake in the trees and spot more animals.
After lunch, we will have the unique opportunity to swim with pink dolphins in nearby backwaters. This territorial animal will keep us safe from caimans, and we can enjoy a close encounter with these beautiful creatures.
On the fifth and final day, after breakfast, we will focus on sports fishing for piranhas, a unique and exciting experience. We will have lunch and then head back to Rurrenabaque, where we will arrive around 5 pm.

Journey into the Pampas
After breakfast (not included), we will pick you up from your hotel in Rurrenabaque or the airport (if you arrive on the same day of the tour before 10:30 am). We will venture into the Yacuma Pampas, traveling by land from Rurrenabaque. Our journey begins at our offices, from where we will drive to the charming town of Santa Rosa del Yacuma for lunch.
From there, we will navigate upstream on the Yacuma River by motorboat, observing incredible wildlife such as birds, caimans, turtles, monkeys, capybaras, and, if we’re lucky, pink dolphins!
As the day ends, we will witness a stunning Pampas sunset. For those looking for more adventure, an optional night excursion is available to observe the glowing eyes of caimans (each participant must bring a flashlight).
Sunrise, Anaconda Search & Swimming with Dolphins
Early in the morning, before breakfast, we will experience the breathtaking sunrise over the Pampas, witnessing the Amazon awaken in all its splendour.

Indigenous Community & Stone Canyon
After an early breakfast, we will pack up and begin our journey back to Rurrenabaque, arriving around 11:00 am. From there, we will continue by motorboat along the majestic Beni River, heading towards the Tacana Indigenous Community of San Miguel del Bala—a hidden gem in the jungle. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Here, you will immerse yourself in the daily life of the Tacana people and learn about their ancestral traditions. You will have the chance to extract fresh sugarcane juice using a traditional ¨trapiche¨. Later, we will visit the spectacular San Miguel Stone Canyon, where an unforgettable hike will lead us through one of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in the region.
Following this, we will continue our journey along the Beni and Tuichi Rivers for approximately four hours, reaching our secluded retreat: Corazón del Madidi Lodge, nestled deep within the most biodiverse national park in the world. Here, you’ll find private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, ensuring comfort amid the wilderness.
After dinner, you may choose to relax or join an optional nocturnal excursion to experience the jungle’s vibrant nightlife.
